A blend that stands out
Black Velvet was crafted with a focus on flavor and consistency. It includes:
- Arabica from Brazil – with a full body, low acidity, and notes of chocolate and nuts.
- Arabica from Colombia – adding aromatic depth with notes of caramel and ripe fruit.
- Robusta from India – for intensity, rich crema, and a long aftertaste with earthy character.
This combination creates an espresso with character: strong, full-bodied, and consistent in every cup.

Flavor & aroma
The flavor is reminiscent of dark chocolate, with a subtle bitterness and notes of roasted spices. The texture is full and velvety, with a character that stays with you.

If you prefer a mild, sweet coffee without intensity, then this blend is NOT for you. But if you love espresso the way they drink it in Italy, then yes.
When we were developing this blend, we wanted to create something that could hold its own against Italian standards. It was tested in moka pots (Bialetti) and espresso machines by people who drink coffee daily in Italy. Their feedback was clear: “This espresso tastes like home."
